This is what it looks like outside! Looks a bit dreadful, but I love it! Because it’s raining…
… the husband calls me around 7am from work, he advises me he doesn’t want our son walking to school in this storm. We share a car, I don’t have my driver’s license for medical reasons so… You guessed it, dad wishes son to stay home from school. No way, didn’t our parent walk through 25 miles of snow to get to school. Hmmph!
I didn’t have him stay home. I asked my lovely neighbor and close friend to take him to school, knowing she heads that way most mornings. (the nieghbor that cooked me all that food in “My Dear Friend, Latundra Eagleton”, not the nieghbor in “Parenting Mistakes & My Poor Sinya”) Isn’t she sweet? She took him, and told me on raining days she will take the kids to school until we get our stuff together… like another car and my drivers license.
All I have to say is “Thanks Friend!”
Note: Strange thing, Latundra’s son’s school called school off today because of the rain! Never heard of that before.
