What a great experience for my Sinya… she went to Disney On Ice: Princess Classics! I was so excited for her!
I hear a knock at the door, low and behold, my neighbors daughter wants Sinya to go with her to Disney On Ice, and it starts in two hours. Okay!
So, she went and here are a few pictures:

Around here Halloween is a casual holiday, nothing extreme. Many parents I know ban Halloween altogether. The history of Halloween can be frightening to some, and can be an uncomfortable day for different religions because it’s considered a “pagan holiday”. I don’t feel as though I have to ban it altogether. I still allow the children to have fun with dress up and with collecting candy. Sometimes we have our own little Halloween party with cupcakes and good food, all the while, the kids know we celebrate it as a family fun day rather then a religious one.
I do enjoy seeing the neighborhood kids costumes when they come to the door, and the creativeness of those who decorate at their doorstep. I enjoy fall colors, pumpkins at the door, and the drama that comes with it. Am I hurting my kids because Halloween is “bad”, I don’t think so. They’re having fun! Even though we participate halfway, I do respect those that ban it, and those that go all out making it a religious event all the same. To each his own, right?
Here is how serious Halloween is for us, I only have pictures for 2004-2005 saved! Bad Mom, I know! Hee Hee. (Some years, we do a “wings and halo” type get up with their regular clothes, very casual!) How are you spending your Halloween? Do you go all out? Maybe you ban Halloween? Some very strange things have been going on in the Reed home these last few days! A few of the children cleaned up without being told, and not just once!
It all started Friday night, I told the boys to unload the dishwasher. Robyn asked “Can I just do them?” Umm SURE! She not only unloaded, but proceeded to load the dishwasher as well.
The next morning, I hear dishes’ clanking about, to my surprise, Robyn is doing dishes yet again! Hmmm… I dont dare call her on it, she might stop!
Then earlier today, Yissie had the nerve to write on the walls with red crayon! I was not pleased one bit. Dad was just about to walk in and see red crayon on the wall. Not that it matters if he sees that, it’s just that he was on his way home from a long day at work. Who wants to see red crayon on the wall when they walk in the door?
Low and behold Sinya wants to wash the walls! Great, get to washing missy! After washing the crayon off, Sinya wanted to wash more walls. Okay?! Then I look over, Renae is helping her, and then stops to pick up a broom! What is Renae doing with the broom, of all things she is sweeping! Not only did Renae sweep, but her and Sinya proceeded by mopping, cleaning the microwave, and even helped me cook! Oh no!
What’s a mom to do? Are kids supposed to behave in this manner? They left me scared.
Have you ever seen something of this nature?

We just moved in this house, beds aren’t even hooked up yet! What do you know, someone recorded their flip gone wrong! Watch till the very end! So funny. I laugh every time I watch it…
Poor quality I know, they recorded with a cell phone, funny though, right?
