The Kids in 2006

My kids are very vocal lil’ beings. Five out of six of them were in the room with me… What a great moment to talk a bit!

Well, we were sitting together in the living room; I thought it was a great time for a quick round-up.

We sat in a circle and said something kind about the two people sitting next to us. That worked out pretty good. A lil’ goofing off, but everyone had the warm and fuzzies.

Then, we sat in the same circle, and said to the two people next to us exactly what we felt that person can improve on. Everyone took it very positive.

I believe this taught each of us to listen better to one another, to tell others how we feel honestly (without disrespecting them), and to take constructive criticism with ease.  I must say, we will incorporate our family round-ups more often.
