What is the big deal about Google Friend Connect? I have to say the tools are very unique and user friendly for both blog owners and blog readers alike!
As a reader, Google Friend Connect can give the writer to your favorite blog insight about who you are and what your interest are. That is a plus, it assists the one writing in meeting your needs. What a great way for me to get to know you!
Another huge bonus for Google Friend Connect users is that it makes blogs such as Reed What Matters interactive. We can all communicate with each other easier and we can get to know each other better. I love this factor. I get to know each of you through comments, but why not us all get to know each other. Afterall, we are a big family coming together to share our experiences with what really matters, family knowledge and entertainment!
Now for my fellow bloggers, sign your blog up for Google Friend Connect. Google has 6 reasons why you should do so:
- Add a member’s gadget – this helps your readers join your site and connect with other readers of your site.
- Add fun gadgets to your site – this will enable your blog to be more interactive. You can add many comment and rating tools if you like.
- Find out what your readers true interest are or their demographics - this will bring you that much closer to your readers. If you see that most of your readers like animals… Maybe you can write about animals and tie it into your niche. This tool is nifty, you can ask these questions as they sign up to your site or in a poll later down the line.
- Newsletters folks – create and send your readers your very own newsletter. Stay connected!
- Ads aren’t so annoying for your readers – Ads will tie into your reader’s interest
- More tools, More data – Showing your subscribers growth, and showing you answers to your polls.
